This historic place was a gift from Captain Samuel Watts to the citizens of Thomaston in 1890 and is used today for both public and private events including plays, dances, weddings, musicals, family gatherings, corporate and public meetings and many other types of events that serve to fulfill the wishes of its benefactor as it continues to be used by the citizens of the Town of Thomaston.

Watts Hall Community Players announces an afternoon of musical and theatrical talent on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 3:00 pm in Watts Hall. 

On hand for the afternoon of talent will be Thomaston’s own Playin Possum, a four piece band made up of members of the Hynd Family of Hyler Street, “All That Jazz”, area vocalists, The Dock Boys and members of the Watts Hall Community Theater performing short pieces.  Featured will be musical selections from light jazz to bluegrass and sea shanties. Short pieces of theatrical comedy will round out the afternoon.

The afternoon is offered as a follow up to the very successful Sock Hop sponsored by Watts Hall Community Players in February. 

Light refreshments will be served and the afternoon is free and open to the public.
